Yaya Toure has been offered £300,000 per week by Chinese clubs to leave Manchester City

Yaya Toure’s agent has revealed that his client has received offers from Chinese clubs that amount to more than £300,000 per week.

Toure, who still has one year left on his contract, has yet to be offered a new contract by Manchester City and may be tempted to make the move to China.

With the arrival of Pep Guardiola in the summer, it is less likely that Yaya Toure will get another contract with Manchester City.

It is reported that there are two Chinese clubs namely Shanghai SIPG and Jiangsu who are interested in signing the Ivory Coast player. They are even prepared to give Yaya Toure a £20million signing fee to encourage the Manchester City to sign for them.

Reports in China have confirmed that Yaya Toure’s agents have met with representatives of the Chinese clubs and that there are concrete offers that have been made. They have stated that it is not a problem for buying Toure out of his contract since he will be receiving a hefty signing on fee that will cover such expenses.

Yaya Toure has always stated his preference to stay in Europe. But so far there are no concrete offers from any European clubs for the Ivory Coast player. It was reported that Inter Milan might be interested in signing Toure but they may be hindered by the Financial Fair Play regulation.

Staying at Manchester City will be quite impossible with the arrival of Guardiola, and he will be better off looking for another club.

Chinese clubs have been consistently investing money in developing their football and also signing players. If Toure goes to Jiangsu, he will be playing alongside former Chelsea player Ramieres, Alex Teixeira, and former City player Jo.
